Job description

A Human Resources and Payroll Administrator is responsible for managing HR functions and processing payroll for an organization. Here are the key aspects of this role : Core Responsibilities Payroll Administration Process weekly and biweekly payroll accurately and on time Enter and maintain employee pay information, including salaries, hourly rates, bonuses, deductions, and withholdings Ensure proper processing of payroll taxes and benefit deductions Handle multi-state payroll filings as needed Post employment advertisements OSHA : Oversee and responsible for Safety reviews and compliance Unemployment insurance   Benefits Administration Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies Conduct benefits orientations and enrollment for employees Assist employees with benefits inquiries and claims issues Coordinate with benefits vendors and partners   HR Functions Maintain employee records and HR information systems Implement employee onboarding and offboarding processes Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations Conduct background checks and employment verifications Assist with employee relations issues Maintain job descriptions Timely performance reviews by managers   Required Skills and Qualifications Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft Office suite Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 3-5 years of relevant HR and payroll experience Excellent communication skills Work in a team-oriented environment   Additional Responsibilities Coordinate employee recognition programs and events Assist with HR reporting and analytics Provide administrative support to the HR department Participate in HR projects and initiatives as needed   His / her role requires a detail-oriented professional who can effectively manage both payroll processing and general HR functions while providing excellent service to employees.
