Job Summary :

eos is looking for a Market, Strategy and Planning Manager to own go to market planning across the hygiene and grooming categories. This position will be focused on leveraging market, category, and consumer insights to inform assortment and distribution strategy, alongside retailer sell-in strategy and launch strategy, while delivering profitable growth and improving operational efficiencies for the brand. The right candidate will be a data driven self-starter, strategic generalist and strong cross functional facilitator / influencer. This role reports to the Market, Strategy and Planning Sr. Manager.

Responsibilities :

  • Create go to market launch plans for innovation inclusive of merchandising and marketing
  • Partner with the product innovation team on assortment planning
  • Leverage tools / data to gain a deep understanding of the market, category and consumer
  • Identify market, category, and consumer opportunities and solutions based on data trends
  • Partner with Sales and the Omnichannel team to develop retailer-specific presentations to convey sell-in strategies
  • Continually analyze and optimize distribution opportunities across channels and retailers
  • Partner with Supply Chain teams on Retailer Allocation Strategy to and drive operational efficiencies and maximize Customer Fill rates
  • Lead weekly and monthly business reviews with senior management
  • Collaborate with cross functional partners to share ideas and best practices
  • Leverage market and competitive trends to inform tests and new strategies

Requirements :

  • At least 5-7 years’ experience in Marketing or Sales Strategy, Planning or Operations within CPG; Bachelor’s degree required
  • Strategic generalist comfortable managing multiple, dynamic workstreams
  • Experience analyzing and reporting retailer sales data in order to identify trends, forecast and drive improvement of business results
  • Knowledge of technical systems such as Power BI, Nielson, and Numerator and willingness to learn new technologies and platforms
  • Experience identifying operational issues and recommending strategies to resolve problems
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to collaborate, influence and facilitate meetings cross-functionally and provide clear and concise feedback
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with keen attention to detail and follow through
  • Demonstrates a high level of resourcefulness, flexibility and can-do attitude
