Equipment Operator I / Driver Class A CDL / Tanker & Hazmat Endorsement
Clean Harbors in Shreveport, LA is seeking an Equipment Operator I / Driver Class A CDL / Tanker & Hazmat Endorsement to operate heavy equipment such as a backhoe, heavy duty crane, heavy duty forklift and / or track hoe within the field.

Key Responsibilities :
Ensure Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes and always acting in a safe mannerOperates backhoe, heavy duty crane, heavy duty forklift, and / or track hoe.Operates a forklift as necessaryCompletes daily checklist as required for proper operation of the unit being operatedAssures unit is never operated in an unsafe manner or in a manner which is inconsistent with Standard Operating ProceduresCompletes and submits all associated paperwork as required for waste tracking movementsAssures that all containers are properly secured, i.e., chock blocks, jack standsFollow all local, state (provincial) and federal compliance regulations and rules.Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state (provincial) and federal requirementsSafely observe all corporate operating guidelines and proceduresObserve all company environmental health and safety operating guidelinesPerform other duties as assignedBy position, ability to be on call for emergency response on rotating basis every other weekBy position, site-remediation, equipment decontamination, and the handling of hazardous materials.Required Qualifications :
Ability to work in a team environmentPrevious experience in operating : backhoe, heavy duty crane, heavy duty forklift and / or track hoePerform physical functions per job requirementsSuccessfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical, by positionPer OSHA's Respiratory Protection standard, 29 CFR 1910.134, employees in positions requiring respirators are required to meet facial hair standards.Qualifications :
