Position Summary
The Warehouse Driver / Material Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of materials, tools, and supplies to job sites and for assisting in daily warehouse operations. This role ensures that project teams receive the necessary resources on time, while maintaining accurate inventory and promoting a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate company vehicles (including box trucks, flatbeds, and/or pickup trucks) to deliver and pick up materials from vendors and job sites.
Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment using forklifts, pallet jacks, or by hand.
Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and inventory transactions.
Ensure all outgoing and incoming materials are properly labeled, stored, and secured for transport.
Assist with receiving, inspecting, and stocking inventory in accordance with company procedures.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and notify management of any mechanical issues.
Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, field teams, vendors, and supervisors to coordinate material needs.
Support physical inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
Perform general labor tasks in support of warehouse operations or jobsite readiness.

Qualifications
Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED required.
1+ year of experience in warehouse, logistics, or delivery driving preferred.
Previous experience in the construction or electrical industry a plus.
Licenses & Certifications
Skills
Strong knowledge of safe loading/unloading and material handling practices.
Ability to read work orders, delivery slips, and inventory forms.
Familiarity with basic warehouse tools and equipment.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Basic computer or mobile app skills for inventory or delivery tracking systems.
Working Conditions
Frequent exposure to warehouse environment and construction job sites.
May involve exposure to loud noises, dust, uneven surfaces, and outdoor elements.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull heavy materials and supplies.
Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb, and operate machinery.
