WORKING CONDITIONS : Requires knowledge of kitchen equipment. Requires working in and around hot and cold environments and handling
of sharp objects.
1. Cook and prepare required meals for your shift.
2. Share ideas with the Food Service Supervisor concerning menu planning.
3. Abide by guidelines set forth by the Health Department.
- Keep the kitchen and surrounding food service areas clean and well organized.
- Supervise the cleaning of the kitchen and the food service equipment according to the chore guidelines set by the Food Service Supervisor.
- Tke care to thoroughly clean stainless steel surfaces.
- Wipe down stainless steel with wet towel and then go over with dry towel.
- Use cleaner in water as directed.
C. GENERAL DUTIES
Lead and direct volunteers and Recovery residents in kitchen duties.Carry out all food service rules and regulations.Answer the donation door as needed and gratefully accept what donors bring.Work within the supervision and direction of the Food Service Supervisor.Represent RRM in a Christlike manner to all visitors and donors.Perform any other duties specified for you by the Food Service Supervisor.Be proactive in efforts to continuously improve efficiency and organization of kitchen.FACTORS
