About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Certifications : BLS required

Must-Have :

Travel experience is required.

CPI certification will be obtained on-site if not currently active.

Description :

Psychiatric Registered Nurse needed for 12-hour night shifts.

Travel experience is required.

Start dates occur every other Monday.

Nurses will be scheduled every 2-3 weekends.

No on-call requirements.

All credentialing must be submitted one week prior to the start date.

Candidates must have two years of experience in a similar setting.

BLS certification is a requirement.

An active VA or Compact License is required at the time of submission.

Experience with Cerner is preferred.

A background in psychiatric nursing in Virginia is required.

Covid and flu vaccinations or declinations are required.

Psychiatric Registered Nurses are expected to contribute to a supportive culture, especially when working with students and new hires.

Prior travel experience is required for all positions.

Floating is not required.
