Now Hiring : Food Service Worker

Location : Apple Valley, CA 92308

We are currently looking for a qualified, full-time Food Service Worker (Assistant Cook) to join our residential team. The Food Service Worker (Assistant Cook) will be responsible for :

• Assisting in following the posted menus, using the correct food, quantity and recipes to prepare the meal(s), maintain all safety standards, food handling health standards, and all local, county, and state health requirements.
• Wash all dishes, trays, utensils, glasses, pots, and pans will be responsibility of all food service personnel.
• Document all meal counts. They must be accurate and reconciled with the edit check; collaborate with the Team Administrator to ensure that all residents and staff receive a meal.
• Other documentation required : daily production menu, time allocation sheets, temperature log, and others as assigned.
• Consult with Kitchen Supervisor about the end of the month inventory preparations.
• Participate in departmental meeting and / or company sponsored seminars. Account for all products.
• It is critical to meeting the menu invoices. Keep copies of all invoices.
• Drive a vehicle when necessary.

Skills / Requirements

Pay rate : $16.50 per hour. Annual performance bonus available.
