Job descriptionProvide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and engaging in emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to maintain a secure environment. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the site and perimeter, which may include both interior and exterior areas of the location. Monitor for any suspicious activity and / or unauthorized access, and report findings according to established protocols. Communicate and collaborate with site staff and visitors to address security-related concerns and questions. Complete detailed reports and logs of patrols, incidents, and other relevant activities as required by site procedures. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. A valid security guard card and / or license issued by the state, county, or city is preferred. Experience with X-ray screening is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. Security Officer - Warehouse Site
As a Security Officer - Warehouse Site in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will actively monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment. Your presence and professionalism will play a key role in supporting a positive atmosphere, providing exceptional customer service, and engaging with employees and visitors. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
