Work Requirements per 6 Week Schedule :
PD Level One
32 to 72 hours / 6 weeks
PD Level Two
73 to 110 hours / 6 weeks
PD Level Three
111 to 144 hours / 6 weeks
Required Travel : Glenview and Highland Park HospitalWhat You Will Do :
Work under the supervision of a RN to deliver patient care on the Antepartum unitAssist with Vital Signs (includes manual blood pressure), 12-Lead EKG, Bladder Ultrasound, Foley catheter and IV adapter removal, sterile specimen collection, bathing, beds, ambulating, turning, hourly rounding, blood glucose, feeding, admitting patients to room, preparing patients for discharge and any other duties delegated by the Registered NurseAssist with the implementation of a patient specific care planParticipate in other activities which are essential to the functioning of the patient care unitPositively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experienceWhen in the clinical environment, must utilize appropriate patient movement equipment for patient-lifting and transfers when the transfer is a non-emergency situation. In an urgent event, may need to assist with lifting up to 50 pounds.What You Will Need :
Education : Completion of an accredited certified nursing assistant (CNA) training course preferred or Completion of at least one nursing clinical rotation in medical or surgical nursing preferredCertification : Current BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider issued by American Heart Association If BLS certification is not current or does not have certification, required to be obtained within the employee's introductory period (within 90 days of hire date)Experience : Inpatient PCTUnique or Preferred Skills : Inpatient PCT medical / surgical experienceBenefits (For full time or part time positions) :
