Overview :

Responsible for assisting physicians and nurses in providing patient care to clinic patients under the supervision of physicians / nurse practitioner and the leader.

Medical Assistant Qualifications :

• Medical Assistant :
• Education : High School Diploma or GED.
• Certification : Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire .
• Preferred Experience : 6 months of clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a physician's office.
• Certified Medical Assistant :
• Education : High School Diploma or GED.
• Certification : Must have active Medical Assistant certification / registration (RMA, CCMA, CMA; EMT and / or Paramedic are also accepted). Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
