Summary

We are seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team in Glastonbury, CT. In this role, you will support our Athletic Trainers and physicians by directly assisting with patient care to help ensure state of the art comprehensive care for sports injuries and painful musculoskeletal conditions.

Responsibilities

• The primary duties of this position are to provide "energy medicine" services directly to the patients in the form of extracorporeal shockwave (ESWT / EPAT) and Class 4 laser treatments
• Prepare treatment areas and equipment for patient sessions
• Help instruct patients in home exercise and rehabilitation activities
• Apply kinesiotape to patients as directed by the physicians
• Assist in fitting orthopedic braces, splints, sleeves, and other devices
• Assist the physicians and Athletic Trainers as needed
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients
• Provide excellent customer service to enhance patient satisfaction
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment
• Support administrative tasks as needed
