Position Summary
What you'll do
- Communicate with or to individuals or groups verbally and / or in writing (e.g., customers, suppliers, associates).
- Drive, develop and implement the business plan for area of responsibility to achieve facility goals (e.g., production, quality, safety) and implement operational improvements.
- Forecast and follow up on staffing, workload and performance results to meet business demands for workload and performance results.
- Manage assigned financial aspects by monitoring and tracking expenses compared to budget, monitoring asset utilization and preparing, reviewing, and / or analyzing business reports.
- Monitor and ensure facility-wide compliance with Logistics and company quality and safety standards, policies, procedures, and directives by developing, distributing, and / or maintaining procedures and supporting documentation.
- Investigate and ensure associate, customer and supplier concerns are resolved using own judgment or consulting others when needed.
- Serve as a community liaison by participating in local and community organizations and charitable activities; champion company-sponsored programs and events to associates, customers and the local community.
- Supervise and manage associates and leaders in area of responsibility by giving direction, communicating goals, monitoring performance and providing feedback; identify training and development needs and provide opportunities for learning and growth; teach and support policies and procedures and participate in hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching and evaluation of associates facility-wide.

The annual salary range for this position is $116,000.00-$174,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include : Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location); Stock.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in business or a related field (e.g., Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Financial Management, Production / Operations Management) and 2 years of experience in a senior management role within an operations / distribution / logistics environment (supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers / supervisors; managing workload; participating in hiring and promotion of employees facility-wide) OR2 years of experience as a Walmart Logistics Operations Manager (including supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing associates; managing associate workload; participating in hiring and promotion of associates) OR4 years of experience in a senior management role in an operations / distribution / logistics / retail environment (supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers / supervisors; managing workload; participating in hiring and promotion of employees facility-wide).Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).
