Production Technician - Lubbock TX

JOB TITLE - Production Tech

The Production Technician is responsiblefor safely handling customer's cylinders in compliance with standard operatingprocedures. This position reports directly to the Area Lead andPlant / Department Manager. Training is provided to ensure complete understandingof position and department responsibilities.

Essential Functions

Understands hazards of various gases andsize and contents of cylinders.

Properly perform inspections of cylinders.

Properly and safely handle cylinders.

Required for All Jobs

Performs other duties asassigned

Complies with allpolicies and standards

Qualifications

High School Diploma

Work Experience

Preferred 0-1 years ofexperience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Strong level of attention to detail.

Basic computer skills.

Ability to read and comprehend English.

Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines.

Must be able to read and write and perform mathematical exercises.

Must be able to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities

Able to work extended shifts and / or weekends

Physical Demands / WorkingConditions

Able to work in a non-climatecontrolled environment.

Must be able to roll or lift 75 lb cylinders.

Able to stand for extended periods of time
