Manager Respiratory Care

Job Summary and Responsibilities

Manages the daily operations of the Respiratory Care Department to ensure compliance to all standards of practice and licensing / regulatory requirements. Develops and implements strategies in operational improvements and / or new services that are consistent with organizational strategic and business development planning.

Manages existing programs, as well as program development, implementation of new respiratory programs and assessment / revision of existing programs in keeping with a changing health care environment.

Plans, organizes, and supervises the daily activities of the Respiratory Department , including volunteers and respiratory therapy students, to ensure consistency with standards of practice; licensing / regulatory standards; department policies; and service needs of the facility.

Prepares the annual department budget and ensures compliance to operational expectations and productivity standards.

Job Requirements

Education and Experience :

Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.

Minimum of five (5) years experience in related field. Minimum two (2) years supervisory experience.

Licensure :

• License as a Respiratory Therapist

Pay Range

$52.15 - $77.58 / hour
