Job Summary

This position requires a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality psychiatric care in an onsite setting in Brooklyn, NY.

The role is a contract position with flexible hours from Monday to Friday.

The practitioner will work with individuals facing mental health challenges, supporting their journey towards stability and independence.

Requirements

Active and unrestricted Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification issued by the New York State Education Department.

Current and valid DEA registration.

Prescriptive authority for necessary psychiatric medications, including Naloxone.

Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience preferred.

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

Commitment to serving vulnerable and underserved populations.

Familiarity with supportive housing or psychiatric rehabilitation programs is a plus.

Qualifications

Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

DEA registration.

Prescriptive authority for psychiatric medications.

2+ years of clinical experience with mental health and substance use disorders.

Strong leadership and collaboration skills.

Experience with vulnerable populations.

Knowledge of supportive housing or psychiatric rehabilitation is beneficial.
