The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for the development and growth of their markets, geographic and demographic, which may include Group sales, travel advisors, consortium partners, collaboration partners, and total guest nights.
This individual also proactively develops and recommends strategic market initiatives and direction for their assigned market, monitors market and competitive trends and proactively recommends actionable items to grow market share for Canyon Ranch.
In this role, you will work with property level sales teams and Business Development Managers on strategic and tactical initiatives to ensure alignment across the brand. Also, actively work to document leads and grow data base for email communication and marketing.
Lastly, you'll take a leadership role in virtual and in-person trade-show and event organizations, such as Virtuoso Travel Week, Wellness Webinars, Signature, Internova, Wellness Tourism Association and LE Miami.
Responsibilities
WHAT YOU'LL DO AS A CANYON RANCH COLLEAGUE
Remain current on competitive positioning, trends and compression within assigned marketplace. Stays current on virtual and in-person sales opportunities to reach new clients.
Prepare and implement action plans to development new corporate and social group leads.
Collaboration : Proactive and regular communication with resort teams and in-market business development colleagues to ensure strategies and actions are synergistic, enabling all stakeholders to exceed revenue and guest night goals.

LOCATION : This role will be onsite in Austin, TX.
COMPENSATION : The base annual salary for this role takes into account several factors that are considered in making decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
