Key Responsibilities
Project & Delivery Management
Manage the end-to-end delivery of initiatives-including regulatory commitments, risk remediation efforts, operational improvements, and strategic projects-ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, budget, and regulatory expectations.Develop and maintain project plans, track milestones, manage risks and dependencies, and ensure timely escalation of issues.Produce executive-ready reporting , including status updates, dashboards, and governance materials.Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering
Lead requirements elicitation sessions with business, technology, operations, compliance, and risk stakeholders.Document current-state and future-state processes , business needs, functional requirements, and control requirements.Translate complex business or technical concepts into clear, actionable deliverables.Documentation & Process Design
Create and maintain comprehensive project artifacts-including BRDs , functional requirements, process maps / flows, operational procedures, and governance documentation.Ensure documentation is structured, audit-ready, and compliant with internal standards.Cross-Functional Coordination
Partner closely with technology, cybersecurity, operations, compliance, and vendor teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution of project activities.Facilitate meetings, document decisions and action items, track follow-up tasks, and maintain transparency across stakeholders.Risk, Control, & Regulatory Support
Identify operational or delivery risks and develop mitigation and communication plans.Support regulatory, audit, and internal governance activities by collecting evidence, validating controls, and ensuring documentation meets regulatory and internal standards.Maintain structured repositories of project and compliance documentation.Stakeholder Communication
Communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership, providing concise and accurate summaries of technical, operational, and regulatory topics.Develop presentations, status packs, and other materials to support decision-making.Qualifications
Required
10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, or hybrid BA / PM in banking or financial services.Strong understanding of banking operations, regulatory requirements, risk management, or financial products .Proven experience delivering projects in a regulated environment (e.g., compliance, risk, technology, operational change, remediation).Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing senior-level reporting and documentation.Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel , or similar.Preferred
Experience with regulatory frameworks (e.g., AML / KYC, BSA, SOX, OCC / FRB expectations).Knowledge of SDLC, Agile, or hybrid delivery methodologies.Prior experience coordinating across technology and business teams.Relevant certifications (PMP, CBAP, Agile / Scrum, etc.) are a plus.
