About Alabaster

Alabaster is one of the most exciting and fast-growing companies in faith-based publishing today. Founded in Los Angeles, we create beautiful and compelling Christian products — integrating thoughtful design, theological depth, and cultural relevance to help people engage with faith in meaningful ways.

What began as a Kickstarter campaign in 2016 has grown into a brand that has sold over 1 million Bibles and books — helping to pioneer a new category in Christian publishing where design and spiritual depth go hand in hand.

You’ll find our products everywhere — from TikTok Shop and Barnes & Noble to independent bookstores and major Christian conferences across the country. Our titles regularly appear on multiple Amazon Best Sellers lists, backed by over 5,000 five-star reviews. We've been featured by The Washington Post , Fox Business , and Christianity Today , and Alabaster has made six appearances on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies.

At the heart of it all is our 16 person team — a mission-driven, creatively brilliant group of people who care deeply about doing work that matters. We’re building a culture of creativity, excellence, and impact — and we’re just getting started.

If you're excited about creating high-quality, design-forward products that inspire people — we’d love to meet you.

The Opportunity

Our vision is to see all humanity experience God as beautiful — and we believe the future of Christian formation must be creative, accessible, and shaped by culture-makers who care deeply about both truth and creativity.

Over the next 10 years, we’re building Alabaster into a category-defining Christian brand — one that spans across more than just book publishing. We’re assembling a world-class team of builders, storytellers, and operators to make that vision real — people who are hungry to grow, grounded in purpose, and ready to create products that inspire generations.

If you're looking for a once-in-a-decade opportunity to help shape the future of faith and culture — we’d love to meet you.

At Alabaster, You’ll Enjoy

  • Ownership and Impact : You’ll be trusted to take ownership of your work and make meaningful contributions from day one. We move fast, stay scrappy, and make decisions that drive real results — with plenty of room for initiative and leadership.
  • A Purpose-Driven Team : We’re not just here to sell books — we’re here to build something that matters. Every team member plays a role in shaping products that people love, share, and grow with. You’ll join a team that cares deeply about craft, culture, and impact.
  • Top-Tier Team, Grounded in Values : You’ll work alongside thoughtful, talented people who lead with humility and believe relationships matter. We’re proud of our culture — shaped by people who go above and beyond, care deeply, and show up fully.
  • Real Results, Not Just Vibes : Alabaster has a 95% employee retention rate, a 5-star Glassdoor review, and has made six appearances on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies. We’re not just a great place to work — we’re a great team doing great work.

The Role

Alabaster Co. is seeking a Amazon Marketplace Coordinator to manage and optimize our Amazon Seller Central and Vendor Central accounts. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of experience in e-commerce operations, Amazon advertising (PPC), and product listing optimization. You’ll oversee everything from FBA inventory and keyword strategy to ad performance and A+ Content, helping drive Alabaster’s marketplace growth.

Key Responsibilities Drive Amazon Marketplace Performance and Growth

  • Oversee the day-to-day performance of Alabaster’s Amazon Seller Central and Vendor Central accounts, ensuring sales growth, profitability, and brand consistency.
  • Analyze sales velocity, ad spend, and account health daily to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Develop and execute Amazon growth strategies that include pricing, bundling, keyword targeting, and advertising optimization.
  • Manage FBA / FBM Inventory and Catalog Health

  • Maintain FBA and FBM inventory levels to ensure best-sellers stay in stock and slow-moving products are effectively repositioned or bundled.
  • Partner closely with Operations and Demand Planning to forecast needs, track inbound shipments, and prevent stockouts or overages.
  • Create and maintain accurate product listings, SKUs, and ASINs to ensure a seamless experience across Amazon and NetSuite.
  • Optimize Product Listings, Keywords, and A+ Content

  • Lead ongoing product detail page (PDP) optimization—including imagery, copy, and keywords—to drive organic visibility and conversion.
  • Collaborate with the Brand team to launch new imagery and A+ Content for seasonal campaigns and product launches.
  • Monitor listing suppressions, reviews, and account health alerts, coordinating with the Customer Experience team to resolve issues quickly and protect brand reputation.
  • Execute Amazon Advertising and Search Strategy

  • Partner with our agency (Bullseye) to manage and optimize Amazon Advertising (PPC) campaigns across Sponsored Products, Brands, and Display.
  • Conduct keyword research and maintain a living database of high-value search terms (e.g., Bible study, devotional, Christian gifts, women’s Bible study ) to inform targeting.
  • Review ad performance and adjust bids, budgets, and creative assets based on ROAS and ACOS performance.
  • Lead Seasonal Promotions and Product Launches

  • Plan and execute major seasonal promotions including Prime Day, Cyber Week, and Holiday Deals, submitting Lightning Deals and coupons to meet deadlines.
  • Coordinate Sellico campaigns and new product launches, ensuring all assets—PDPs, A+ Content, imagery, and ads—go live accurately and on time.
  • Track category and keyword trends throughout the year to anticipate search demand shifts and adjust content and ad strategy proactively.
  • Requirements

    Must-Haves

  • 2–4+ years of Amazon experience, specifically managing Seller Central or Vendor Central accounts at a DTC, CPG, or e-commerce brand.
  • Proven ability to drive sales growth and optimize profitability through marketplace strategy, advertising, and inventory management.
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon PPC, keyword optimization, and performance tracking (ACOS, ROAS, TACOS).
  • Strong understanding of FBA and FBM inventory workflows, from forecasting to restock planning to virtual bundling.
  • Excellent command of product listings, A+ Content, and Brand Registry — ensuring content accuracy and visual excellence.
  • Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets, and comfort using analytics or reporting tools (Looker Studio, Helium10, JungleScout, etc.).
  • A proactive mindset — you catch issues before they become problems and communicate clearly across departments.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills; you can juggle campaigns, launches, and content updates with precision.
  • Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience working with third-party advertising agencies or internal PPC teams.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite, CoreSource, or Edelweiss for inventory and listing management.
  • Understanding of D2C and wholesale / retail distribution (Ingram, Shopify, Amazon, etc.).
  • Creative eye for on-brand product presentation and content strategy.
  • Passion for mission-driven brands and resonance with faith-based creative work.
  • Dealbreakers

  • Limited Amazon experience (less than 1 year or no direct Seller Central / Vendor Central exposure).
  • Overly corporate or passive approach — this role requires agility, ownership, and adaptability.
  • Discomfort with numbers, data analysis, or detail-oriented work.
  • Poor follow-through or communication gaps when coordinating across multiple teams.
  • Overly “big company” mindset that struggles in a nimble, startup environment.
  • Benefits
