Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry is looking for a part-time Patient Coordinator for our Mount Pleasant, SC office!
Schedule would be 3 days per week, Typically Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with rotating Saturdays 1-2 times per month.
Hours for office are 8am-5pm Monday-Thursday and 8am-2pm Friday and Saturday
POSITION SUMMARY
The primary role of the Patient Coordinator is to help the dental office stay on schedule, schedules new appointments, enters patient data for billing purposes, communicates with patients in an efficient and empathetic manner, and generally keeps the office stocked with necessary supplies.
KEY COMPETENCIES
- Welcoming / greeting patients with a welcoming, professional, and polished demeanor
- Checking-in patients to ensure they have all the necessary information in the patient management software
- Collecting co-payments
- Checking-out patients
- Closing out and ensuring that registers are balanced daily
- Ability to multi-task and skillfully manage priorities under pressure (ex : patients walking in, phones ringing, etc.)
- Scheduling patients
- Calling to confirm appointments
- Escalating issues to Office Manager
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
