Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Permanent Project Structural Engineer to join our team. You will design, plan, and oversee construction projects, working closely with architects and contractors to ensure structural soundness and safety.

Responsibilities

Design and analyze structural systems for both existing and new projects, ensuring they meet safety and performance standards.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals on project planning and design.
Develop and review construction documents and project specifications.
Utilize expertise in wood, structural, and environmental engineering to create efficient, sustainable designs.
Oversee and manage erosion control and shoring activities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Perform site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
Provide technical advice to project team members and stakeholders.
Lead and manage project teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Continually stay up-to-date with industry advancements and apply knowledge to work.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related field; a Master's degree is a plus.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on wood, erosion control, and shoring.

Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is required.

Experience in environmental engineering and construction document development.

Proficiency with structural engineering software and tools.

Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.

Commitment to staying up-to-date with industry advancements and applying knowledge to work.

Solid understanding of industry regulations and safety standards.
