Job descriptionConduct face‑to‑face psychiatric evaluations, crisis interventions, and suicide risk assessments with inmate‑patients. Provide clinical care in various settings, including cell fronts and multi‑tiered housing units, which may require walking long distances or climbing stairs. Develop and document individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive mental‑health evaluations and available records. Prescribe medication per CDCR guidelines and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Participate in Interdisciplinary Treatment Team (IDTT) meetings and document all patient interactions. Ensure adherence to ethical standards, confidentiality mandates, and mandated reporting requirements. Maintain safety, security, and compliance with facility protocols, including using personal protective equipment when necessary.
