About The Position

Job Title : L&D Nurse

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Beginner, AWHONN Intermediate, NRP, STABLE

Must-Have :

• Previous charge experience preferred
• Travel experience preferred
• Flexible to float to other units or campuses

Description :

May be asked to float to other units.

Must be flexible.

Must live more than 150 miles from the facility.

Experience in Labor and Delivery is required.

First-time travelers are accepted.

Experience with patient ratios and charting systems is preferred.

Must have skills in administration of medications and monitoring of patients.

The role involves assisting with various delivery methods.

Support for breastfeeding and lactation is necessary.

Knowledge of neonatal care is essential.

Candidates must demonstrate the ability to assess and manage high-risk pregnancies.

Experience with infant identification and care standards is required.

Ability to perform emergency procedures is important.

Must comply with vaccination requirements.

Daily patient care includes assistance during labor and immediate postpartum care.

Knowledge of care for infants and handling of complications is necessary.

Ability to educate and discharge parents effectively is crucial.

Must be responsible for understanding and implementing hospital protocols.
