  • Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM)\n

  • Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend\n
  • Float Requirement : Float as needed to MICU, SICU, and other medical units\n
  • Charting System : Cerner\n
  • Scrub Color : Navy Blue\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1840–$1980\n

    • \n\nUnit Details\n \n

  • Nurse-to-Patient Ratio : 1 : 1, 2 : 1, 3 : 1 (depending on patient acuity and unit needs)\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (South Carolina or compact state)\n
  • Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience (Cardiac ICU / CVICU preferred)\n
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications\n
  • Previous travel nurse experience preferred\n
  • Ability to float to MICU, SICU, and other medical units as needed\n

    • \n\nICU Nurse Responsibilities\n \n

  • Deliver direct patient care to critically ill patients, including post-open heart, neuro, and vascular surgery, trauma, and medical overflow\n
  • Monitor and manage advanced medical equipment and procedures (chest tubes, Swan-Ganz, temporary pacemakers, Cordis, cardiac output monitoring, JP drains, central lines, arterial lines, tracheostomy, PEG, G / J tubes)\n
  • Maintain accurate electronic documentation using Cerner\n
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes\n
  • Float to other critical care and medical units as required (maximum 4 patients when floating)\n
  • Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols\n
