This position is part time (20 hours per week). Ability to cover 3rd shift is a must and ability to also cover 1st and 2nd shift as needed is highly preferred. Our office is located at 440 Hopkinsville St., Greenville KY 42345. We offer 4 weeks of on-the-job training.

Primary Responsibilities

• Responsible for the registration of all patients' accessing services with emphasis on patient access / satisfaction, insurance / demographic verification and accuracy, scheduling, and point of service collection, while maintaining confidentiality, professionalism and ethics
• Greet patients
• Coordinate patient flow to reduce wait times
• Assist patients with intake processes
• Collect co-payments, co-insurance and deductibles
• Process walk-in patients and visitors
• Confirms eligibility and verifies insurance benefits
• Ensures all necessary demographic and billing information is obtained for patients and entered in the computer system timely and accurately
• May schedule appointment times using computerized scheduling programs
• Explains financial responsibilities for services received, payment options, and collection procedures to patients and / or parties responsible for payment
• Counsels' patients regarding insurance benefits and recommends alternative sources of payment and / or financial assistance when appropriate
• Accepts payments and co-pays
• Communicates effectively with insurance companies, external agencies, patients, physicians, and team members

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $27.69 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
