We look forward to welcoming a passionate and skilled Optometrist to our team. Responsibilities : Perform comprehensive eye and vision examinations. Diagnose and manage ocular diseases and disorders. Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications as necessary. Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries. Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and treatment options. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Stay updated with advancements in optometric practices and technologies. Qualifications : Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school. Active and unrestricted license to practice optometry in Louisiana, issued by the Louisiana State Board of Optometry Examiners. Current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Preferred Qualifications : Experience in diagnosing and managing ocular diseases. Proficiency in using advanced diagnostic equipment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
