Candidate Profile
JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record (link removed)>
Active Bar Admission in Virginia , in good standing (link removed)>
36 years of business litigation experience (link removed)>
Commercial, mortgage, auto, and credit card litigation experience, as well as the representation of financial institutions, is an advantage.
Federal clerkship experience is a plus.
Demonstrated experience with client management , business development , and the independent management of cases (link removed)>
Ability to thrive both as a team player and when working autonomously.
Soft Skills : Strong research, writing, communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills are essential. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented with sound professional judgment.
Key Responsibilities
Case Management : Handle a broad range of litigation matters involving financial institutions, including consumer financial services disputes and regulatory matters.
Courtroom Advocacy : Participate in depositions, hearings, motions practice, and other court proceedings at both the state and federal levels.
Client Service : Communicate directly with clients, providing legal advice, regulatory guidance and updates on strategy, case developments, and litigation risks and government investigations.
Legal Drafting : Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, briefs, and discovery responses.
Team Collaboration : Work closely with senior litigators and partners in a collaborative environment to deliver high-quality work and achieve client objectives.

Compensation & Benefits
Competitive Salary : $250,000 $350,000 , commensurate with experience.
