About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : Minimum of 2 years in a Level III NICU setting.

License : Valid state license required; pending licenses may be accepted.

Certifications : BLS, NRP, Dr. Brown's Infant Driven Feeding Certificate required.

Must-Have :

Strong experience with high-frequency ventilation, conventional ventilators, and neonatal intensive care procedures.

Experience with intubation, lumbar puncture, and centralized line care.

Description :

The position requires clinical review and auto offer.

Shifts will consist of either 36 or 48 hours weekly, primarily during nighttime hours.

Nurses must work 2 out of 3 winter holidays; requests for Christmas off will not be approved.

Three weekends will be required within the six-week scheduling period.

Travelers must be prepared for potential time-off restrictions.

Candidates should possess experience in managing a variety of neonatal diagnoses.

Strong competency in IV fluid management, medication calculations, and hemodynamic support is essential.

All required documentation, certifications, and past experience must be provided with applications.

Additional skills include care of central lines, colostomy care, and ventilator management.

Care coordination involves supporting infants with complex medical needs.

Applicants must adhere to specific performance expectations related to patient ratios and care standards.

Nurses will float within their scope of practice as required.

No external team members may work previous assignments for more than a specified time frame without a break.

Separation periods and reviewing policies related to employment history may apply.

Verification of credentials is mandatory for submission.

A BSN is preferred for this role.

Experience with specific charting systems is required.
