Field Operations Program Liaison, Bureau of School Health
The Office of School Health (OSH) Operations Unit supports the coordination and implementation of services for OSH and is seeking a self-motivated Field Operations Coordinator with strong problem solving, critical thinking skills, and data management skills to assist in providing data and administrative support. Duties will include but not be limited to : maintaining inventory of PPE equipment and stock (off site and on site) including performing complete inventory checks of all stock and equipment on a monthly basis; coordinating with internal and external partners in relation to deliveries, stock availability or any other queries; tracking and managing inventory supply distribution for bureau staff; coordinating request for equipment / supplies to be stored disposed or returned; coordinating with programs and internal / external procurement to ensure deliveries are accounted for and correctly delivered; coordinating and managing Fit-testing training for school-based staff supporting the medical rooms, including ensuring that the vendor meets compliance as outlined in the contract; managing customer service request promptly and resolving issues timely to ensure staff are supported in the Field; tracking and managing dissemination of Parking Permits for eligible staff including troubleshooting of issues; representing OSH on site visits to evaluate program needs in the field; making recommendations to resolve identified issues; serving as Safety & Health Liaison for the Bureau; and developing tracking reports.
Preferred skills include : proven record of initiating and managing complex, interdisciplinary projects involving multiple partners and technologies; extensive experience in mediating among groups with competing perspectives; willingness to travel to field and school sites in accordance with task as needed; ability to lift packages up to 45 lbs; strong written and oral communication skills; and proficiency with Microsoft Word suite; especially Excel, Access, Word and Outlook.
