Schedule

Monday to Friday, 6 : 30 AM - 4 : 30 PM

Evening call and weekend call

At least one week per month

Clinical Details

Dedicated pediatric anesthesiologist coverage onsite

Occasional help with adult cases

Average Number of Cases per day : 10-15

Locum will cover in the main ORs

Number of beds : 453

Level I Trauma Center

Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology

Board Eligible if recently out of training

Active IL License or IMLC LOQ
BLS (AHA) Certification
PALS (AHA) Certification
Active IL DEA
Clean and easy-to-credential candidates - Highly Preferred
Required Procedures : Standard scope of practice by a Pediatric Anesthesiologist including NICU cases, caudals, peripheral nerve blocks and epidurals
Evening and weekend call required
Support Staff
13 MDs, 60+ CRNAs
Includes supervision of CRNAs
Typical ratio is 1 : 4
