Licensed Practical Nurse - UI Health Care Coralville Oakdale Clinic 90%

The University of Iowa Community Clinics (UICC) is seeking a patient centered 90% (36 hours a week) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work at our UICC Coralville Oakdale Clinic. This position will mainly support our Family Medicine Clinics but could float to other patient specialties / clinic locations including but not limited to : Pediatrics and / or Specialty / Outreach Clinics.

Duties to include :

• Provides nursing care under the supervision of a registered professional nurse.
• Participates in the development of nursing care plans and in the implementation of therapeutic program for patients.
• In less complex situations, may assume responsibility for directing and supervising assigned nursing personnel. In more complex situations, performs as an assistant to the registered professional nurse.
• Current valid driver's license and the ability to meet the University Driving Policy Standards

Percent of Time : 90% (36 hours per week)

Schedule : Variable hours Monday - Friday between 7 : 30 am - 5 : 00 pm. No weekends, on call time, or holidays required.

Location : Coralville, IA. (or surround clinics based on clinical need or hours)

Pay Grade : 11

Salary : $44,557.92 - $66,377.52 (at 100% time) Hourly : $21.34 - $31.79 (based on years of experience)
