The General Condo Laborer supports the overall upkeep, safety, and efficiency of the condominium property. This role involves performing routine maintenance tasks, assisting with repairs, supporting custodial work, and providing general labor as needed to ensure a clean, functional, and welcoming environment for residents.
Key Responsibilities
Property Maintenance & Repairs
- Assist with basic repairs including painting, drywall patching, door and hardware adjustments, minor plumbing tasks, and fixture replacements.
- Support preventive maintenance efforts on building systems, equipment, and common areas.
- Identify and report structural or safety issues to the appropriate supervisor.
Groundskeeping & Exterior Work
Perform landscaping duties such as mowing, trimming, clearing debris, and maintaining walkways.Assist with snow removal, salting, or other seasonal maintenance tasks.Maintain cleanliness around dumpsters, parking areas, and outdoor amenities.Custodial & Cleaning Duties
Help clean and sanitize common areas including hallways, lobbies, elevators, stairwells, and shared facilities.Restock supplies in common-area restrooms and amenity areas as needed.Resident & Property Support
Provide assistance during move-ins, move-outs, and property events when required.Respond to maintenance requests in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.Communicate effectively with residents and staff, maintaining a positive and respectful attitude.Safety & Compliance
Follow all safety protocols, property rules, and building codes.Operate tools and equipment safely and responsibly.Report hazards, incidents, or unusual activity immediately.Qualifications
Previous experience in general labor, maintenance, construction, or a related field preferred but not required.Ability to perform physical labor including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions.Basic knowledge of tools, equipment, and safe work practices.Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.Good communication and teamwork skills.Must have valid Driver's License and active Vehicle Insurance
