The ideal candidate will have experience representing clients in commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, leasing, financing, and development. Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolAdmission to the Maryland Bar in good standing (D.C. Bar admission a plus)3+ years of experience in commercial real estate transactionsStrong understanding of real estate finance, title, and land use mattersExperience drafting and negotiating purchase agreements, leases, and loan documentsExcellent legal research, writing, and negotiation skillsAbility to manage multiple complex transactions simultaneously with attention to detailClient-focused approach with strong interpersonal and communication skillsResponsibilities
Represent clients in commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and leasingDraft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, loan documents, and related agreementsConduct due diligence, including title, survey, and zoning reviewAdvise clients on real estate development, land use, and regulatory complianceCoordinate with lenders, title companies, and local government agenciesProvide legal counsel to developers, investors, landlords, and tenantsCollaborate with colleagues across practice areas to deliver comprehensive client serviceFor this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
