Coverage Needed November 2, 2025 - December 29, 2025 Schedule : 10-hour shifts, days, nights, weekends November 2 (6a-4p), December 24 (6a-4p), December 25 (6a-4p, 12p-10p), December 26 (12p-10p), December 29 (12p-10p) Clinical Details Average Outpatient Volume : 100 patients per day (1.8 patients per hour) Average Inpatient Census : 20 ICU / Critical Care Duties : No Response to Codes : Yes After Hours Admissions Protocol : Hospitalist Procedures : Standard Emergency Medicine procedures Bed Size : 26-bed emergency department with 6 designated Psych beds Support Staff : Team includes 9 physicians and 57 nurses; 4-bed convenient care staffed by one Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant and an RN or Paramedic EMR : EPIC 24-hour Hospitalist and Radiology coverage Vidant Air and Vidant Ground Support for patient transfers Requirements Must have practiced Emergency Medicine in the last 12 months Active NC license and DEA Board Certified Certifications if not EM trained : ACLS, ATLS, PALS
