Facilities Coordinator (Jacksonville)

Job Title : Facilities Coordinator

Location : Jacksonville IL 62650

Duration 5-6-months Contract (Possible Extension)

Pay Range : $40 -$43 / hr.

Basic Function :

This position is responsible for managing and controlling our property management functions within assigned state locations, including Safety; and overseeing and leading the efficient operation of OUR facilities.

Essential Functions :

Full time and full scope management for company facilities in home state.

Comprehensive property management service function : . Physical Operations.. Construction Project Management.. Access Control / physical security coordination with the Safety & Security Department, including fire drills and inspections, post orders, and badge coordination.. Service Management

Oversee and coordinate facilities maintenance personnel. Ensure adequate coverage at all facilities under span of control.

Coordinate daily security activities, including systems, keys, operations, maintenance, or interfacing with security personnel.

Assist in planning and monitoring operating expense and capital budgets.

Promote Cost Control activities. Plan, assign, coordinate and monitor vendor-provided services, projects, inspections, leasehold improvements, or user service requests. Ensure that OUR security and safety policies are followed by outside vendors. (

• AFR assists.)

Requirements :

Preferred Special Skills, Knowledge or Qualifications : Computer skills : Windows, Word Excel, CC&B, GIS, and work order management programs such as Maximo and Primavera. . Ability to assume project leadership and communicate effectively with customers. Basic understanding of electrical theory, policies, procedures and rates. Familiarity with customer construction standards and safety manual. Effective communication and customer service skills. Working knowledge of construction standards and practices, Electric Service Requirement Manual (ESRM) specifications, extension policy provisions, service plan rates, and types of construction materials utilized. Fieldwork may constitute 50% or more of this job.
