Job description3 years’ experience in Outside Sales, Account management or Business Development capacity Prior exposure to the supply distribution, equipment rental industry, mechanical, contracting or construction services, including knowledge of our product offering (tools and equipment) would be beneficial Must possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Essential to juggle multiple time-sensitive priorities, while delivering quality support to customers in a fast-paced environment High level of communication and interpersonal skills required, with ability to respond to inquiries at all levels Must be able to work well within a team environment. COMPANY OVERVIEW : Our client is a construction equipment supplier
POSITION TITLE : Outside Sales - Rentals
COMPENSATION : Competitive Base + DOE
BENEFITS : Standard package
LOCATION : Evansville, IN
SUMMARY : The customer base would include construction businesses, contractors, scaffolding, industrial, electrical power welding & rigging industries to name a few.
DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Responsibilities will include increasing the company’s market share by prospecting new business (equipment rental and supply needs) while servicing and growing existing accounts in assigned territory
- Fostering and forging new / existing relationships that impact the long-term success and sales of our products and services, to include quoting and selling / up-selling / cross-selling to drive increased share
- Managing an assigned account base ensuring customer service / satisfaction expectations are met while achieving sales and profitability objectives
- Responsibilities will also include managing a CRM platform and building a pipeline of qualified businesses
