Back End Software Engineer - Java / Python

Salary : $90,000 - 103,000 per year

Requirements :

• Active TS / SCI security clearance (mandatory)
• Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) certification
• High School Diploma or GED with at least 7 years of experience as a Software Engineer, or a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the same field
• Experience in developing secure back-end software within classified or regulated settings
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Ruby, Python, C#, Java, or PowerShell (preferred)
• Experience across diverse operating systems, including Linux and Windows (preferred)
• Windows Computing Environment (CE) experience (preferred)
• Certification in Linux and / or Windows Computing Environment (CE) (preferred)
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or higher (e.g., CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP) (preferred)

Responsibilities :

Design, develop, test, and maintain secure back-end software systems

Support secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) processes and industry best practices

Create and maintain APIs, services, and application logic to support mission-critical systems

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including security, operations, and systems engineers

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and enhance back-end services in both Linux and Windows environments

Ensure that software adheres to government security and compliance standards

Document system designs, coding practices, and technical procedures
