Responsibilities Work in an Ultrasonography department providing general and vascular ultrasound services except for ABIs and segmental pressure procedures No echo or breast ultrasound procedures are performed Night shift schedule : Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, 6 : 30 PM to 6 : 30 AM 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each Uses Epic charting for documentation Adult patient population Responsible for appropriate operation of ultrasound equipment and image quality evaluation Educate, position, immoblize, and perform ultrasound examinations as ordered by providers Coordinate ultrasound exams to ensure continuity and quality of care Ensure accurate submission of images and related information to radiologists for interpretation Practice sterile technique and adhere to infection prevention policies Must be able to safely transfer patients as needed Requirements Minimum of 2 years experience as an Ultrasound Technologist Associate’s degree required ARDMS registry required BLS certification from the American Heart Association required and must be valid through start date Ability to communicate effectively within a multi-functional team Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Must be able to operate and maintain ultrasound imaging equipment Experience with Epic EMR preferred License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-619287.
