Director, Product Management (Digital Health Care)
Samsung Research America is seeking an experienced, highly motivated individual to join our Digital Health team as a product management leader and be a core part of a passionate team charged with developing, incubating, and launching innovative product concepts that will transform the future of Samsung Health.
Digital Health is a multi-disciplinary agile team working on designing and developing innovative digital health products, services and solutions. Our goal is to significantly empower consumers, patients, clinicians, and developers so they can leverage smartphones, wearables, medical devices, and IoTs in the health and wellness domain.
Position Summary
You will drive the next generation of health features with Samsung Health.
This will involve planning and developing future products and features for managing shared health journeys.
As a product leader, you will develop innovative product concepts, articulate the product vision and competitive positioning, define product requirements, and influence both internal and external stakeholders to deliver products that create value for consumers, providers, researchers and other stakeholders, advancing Samsung’s vision for Digital Health.
Position Responsibilities
Create novel and innovative product strategy and product concepts that contribute to a robust product development pipeline.
Lead the design thinking process for your team—from problem definition to design implementation.
Drive product strategy (define vision, strategy, roadmap, analytics, and success metrics; collaborate with internal business and strategy teams to strengthen product position).
Drive product development working closely with technical program managers and development leads (market and user research, design, development, validation, and deployment).
Own product requirement document (PRD), user guide, and product performance reporting; serve as the single point of contact for key stakeholders including executives, partners, business, strategy, engineering, design, QA, operations, and legal.
Lead product management including market opportunity and user need identification, product vision & strategy formation, roadmap, product definition & development, business case development, competitive positioning, goal / KPI setting & monitoring.
Required Skills
MD / Masters of Science in Health / Bachelor / Clinical science related fields OR relevant experience in care plans or equivalent education and experience.
12+ years of product management experience with a minimum of 5+ years building health products with provider (physician) care plans.
Experience applying a user‑centered, iterative approach to designing software for people.
Knowledge of AI / ML concepts related to building personalization systems.
Experience building products that drive sustained engagement.
Base Pay Range
$235,400 - $365,650 USD
