The Parking & Lot Attendant is responsible for daily operational activities of the entrance and exit gate for the Installation Materiel Maintenance Division Compound. The Parking Lot Attendant controls authorized entry and use of lot, refers parking related problems arising within the facility to appropriate authorities for appropriate actions.

Major Job Activities :

• Controls the entrance and exit gates at the Installation Maintenance Division Compound.
• Refers parking related issues arising within the facility to appropriate authorities for administrative actions.
• Other duties may be assigned to meet organizational / operational objectives.
• Records information for equipment and visitors during entrance and exit of the compound
• Unlocks main gate and building at the beginning of the work day.
• Secures main gate and building at the end of the work day.
• Assists with compound and facility cleaning tasks.
• Prepares & maintains documents for issue, return, and receipt of vehicles, storage containers, and other various equipment as required.
• Ensures designated customer parking slots are available for customers only.
• Cleans guard shack every day to include : (bathroom, refrigerator, and microwave).
• Interacts with visitors and customers in a cordial and respectful manner.
• Directs visitors to the appropriate location or personnel on the compound as required.

Working Environment :

The worker is subject to both environmental conditions. Activities occur inside and outside. The worker is subject to extreme heat. Temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour. Consideration should be given to the effect of other environmental conditions, such as wind and humidity. The worker is subject to extreme cold. Temperatures typically below 32 degrees for periods of more than one hour. Consideration should be given to the effect of other environmental conditions, such as wind and humidity. The worker is subject to outside environmental conditions. No effective protection from the weather. The indoor workspace is in a compact building with a total of four personnel.

Physical Activities :

Must be able to walk on uneven ground and within work various sites 6-8 hours a day in performance of duties. Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and / or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and / or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
