Pay : $80,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year

- Relocation is welcomed and relocation packages are available.
Note : This position requires employees to be on-site five days a week at either the Raleigh, NC or Charlotte, NC office. Schedule : Four 9-hour workdays and a half-day on Fridays.
Note : The qualified candidate for this position must have at least 3 years of roadway design experience and working knowledge of NCDOT Guidelines and the FHWA Roadway Design Manual.

Job Description
Design and develop roadway projects including intersections, arterials, expressways, interstates, and interchangesAssist with project scopes, budgets, schedules, and client communicationsWork closely with project managers to maintain client needs and expectationsMentor junior engineers, designers, and drafters in roadway design processesCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams, sub-consultants, and permitting agenciesPrepare roadway design plans in compliance with NCDOT and FHWA standardsUse MicroStation, GeoPak, OpenRoads, or similar design tools for plan developmentDeliver accurate, timely, and high-quality design documents and reportsQualifications
Bachelors degree in civil engineering or related fieldMinimum of 3 years of roadway design experienceWorking knowledge of NCDOT Guidelines for Highway Design and FHWA Roadway Design ManualProficiency with roadway design software (MicroStation, GeoPak, OpenRoads preferred)Strong communication skills with ability to interact effectively with clients and teamsExperience working in a multi-disciplinary engineering environmentMust be detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines without close supervisionSponsorship not available candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.Why This Is a Great Opportunity
