Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of recent inpatient experience for a day shift rehabilitation role requiring MN OT licensure and BLS (AHA) certification.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a post-acute inpatient rehabilitation unit at a trauma level 3 hospital
  • Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, with no call or weekend requirements
  • Potential to float to outpatient therapy as needed
  • Typical caseload is approximately 30-40 adult patients, including general deconditioning, total joint replacement, post-op ortho, and some neurological and medical-surgical cases
  • Epic is used for electronic medical records
  • Primary responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of adults with orthopedic, neurological, and general medical conditions
  • You will not be required to work alone on the unit
  • Dress code is charcoal grey scrubs or business casual attire
  • Computer-based and 1-on-1 department orientation provided, including Epic training
  • Candidates who have previously worked for this health system must have a separation date at least 6 months before starting

  • Active Occupational Therapist license in MN required if applicable
  • Active BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required
  • Minimum 1 year of recent inpatient hospital experience within the past 3 years
  • Willingness to float to outpatient therapy if needed
