Requirements  Position opened for FSED associated with Fawcett.Go-Live is 10 / 1 / 2024

FM / IM is still accepted but the requirements for FM / IM are so stringent that those providers qualify to work at the main

  • What’s the schedule? On-site call coverage weekends nights – MD : 32 hrs / day APP : 24 hrs / day

o Are there specific dates needed?

o If call is involved what is call volume? How often do they get called back on-site?

o Call / Rotation schedule?

  • Will they take an APP or SFA when applicable? No
  • Who should be the timesheet approver each week? Scheduler Krystal Stewart
  • What are expectations for orientation? ie shadow day? EMR training? Orientation at the main facility to include EMR additional Shadow Day at FSED

    • Candidate Parameters

  • Any specific fellowships / certifications / procedures / competencies we are looking for?
  • Experience level?

    • Credentialing questions :

  • Will emergency privileges be an option? Unknown possible
  • Are case logs needed? If so what are the requirements?

    • o ABEM and FM / IM if FM / IM :

    Must apply for a Waiver first and meet the following qualifications

  • Internal Medicine Trained
  • ABPS Boarded Not accepted at Fawcett as Board Certification it’s an Alternative Board.
  • ABMS is what are standard boards which houses ABEM. These are called BCEM
  • EM experience in the previous 5 years

    • Hospital / unit questions

  • Number of beds?
  • Census? 25 pts a day busyGeneral Comments

    • Must be willing to work at Main facility associated with FSED

    Schedule  Weekends, Days, Nights
