Job Description :

The Test Technician position performs disassembly, assembly, re-work, and minimum testing of various electrical / electronic equipment.

Job Core Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean and orderly workstation.
  • Maintain an acceptable safety record.
  • Maintain an acceptable attendance record
  • Willing to learn to test and troubleshoot various products as required.
  • Completes necessary training to maintain knowledge and skills required for job performance
  • Follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Position requires overtime to production schedules and demands.
  • Adhere to all company guidelines, policies and procedures.
  • Self-monitor work progress against fast-paced area benchmarks and achieve on time delivery of all work
  • Assist with area efficiency and 6S improvement projects
  • Assist other departments with job duties and tasks, as needed within the scope of expertise
  • Perform maintenance and alteration tasks in accordance with the current technical data provided in the
  • manufacturers instructions for continued airworthiness, services bulletins, service letters, airworthiness
  • directives, government and industry standard practices, and other data acceptable to or approved by the
  • FAA.
  • Complete work according to instructions, specifications and procedures, with limited supervision.
  • Properly record the work performed on the appropriate maintenance record.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and
  • weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary

Education :

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Years of Experience :

  • 0-2 years prior work experience in an electronics Manufacturing / Testing environment

  • Skills :

  • Ability to utilize manual and automated test equipment to test digital and analog circuitry.
  • Ability to read schematics and understand the circuit function.
  • Must be able to communicate fluently in technical terms both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability operates environmental test chambers
  • Experience with MS Office Suite
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, resourceful, and able to work both independently and in a
  • team environment
  • Physical Requirements

  • Approximately 80% sitting and 20% standing / walking about in-door Company facilities.
  • Lift and Carry up to 45 lbs.
  • Use hand tools, and power tools.
  • Use head and neck in static position, looking up / down and side-to-side.
  • Perform major hand grasping and fine finger manipulations using both hands.
  • Perform light lifting from floor, table and shelf.
  • Push and pull carts or mobile tables, loaded and unloaded.
  • Minimal : heavy lifting from floor or higher, bending, twisting, climbing, lifting arms above shoulders,
  • kneeling.
  • Minimal : exposure to excessive noise, hazardous chemicals, hazardous equipment, uneven walking surfaces
