What you'll do

  • Accountable for the Project Management Office within the CSX Americas Region. Responsible for ensuring successful delivery of key projects, large scale, and process optimization, aligned to the Global AOS & CSX strategies, change management and transformation programs. Interacts and aligns with relevant stakeholders to implement projects and improve processes.
  • Full accountability for successful management and delivery of key projects, aligned to the Global AOS & CSX strategies, change management and transformation programs, driving and adopting customer centricity mindset within day-to-day team interactions with stakeholders.
  • Oversee design, planning & implementation of projects, including scope definition, timelines, roles, and resources.
  • Manage the PMO CSX team activities, develop capabilities and define actions for further improvement and better efficiency.
  • Ensure alignment with major stakeholders, e.g. Global SC team, AO Regional Supply Chain, GBS+, DX, Functions and Business Units.
  • Provide updates to senior management and all stakeholders, of PMO projects through frequent communications via reports and meetings.
  • Work proactively with Head of CSX FO, CSX Managers and CoE Head to identify, evaluate, and implement projects to improve processes & procedures in line with Global CSX strategy - considering harmonization potential across the region.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards, policies, and best practices.
  • Recruit & manage the team with focus on development of capabilities, know-how transfer, disciplinary topics, appraisals, management of holidays / absences. Participate actively in team meetings & workshops striving for strategy, process, team, and organizational development.

  • Work experience within Project Management minimum - 2 years
  • Further education required Project Management Experience and Certification (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma etc.)

  • The salary forthis role is $163,000.00 This is the range that we in good faithanticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We mayultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salaryrange may also be modified in the future.
