Travel Nurse Job Details

Location : Lafayette, Indiana 47905

Assignment Length : 13-week travel nursing contract (August 26, 2025 – November 25, 2025)

Shift : 12-hour night shifts (3 : 00 PM – 3 : 30 AM); mid-shifts available (10 : 00 AM – 10 : 00 PM or 12 : 00 PM – 12 : 00 AM)

Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

On-Site Position

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1680 - $1800

ER RN Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license

Minimum 3 years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience

BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; TNCC preferred

Proven experience caring for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populations

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to provide care for medical, trauma, and mental health patients

Must wear navy scrubs and comply with facility dress code

Completion of onboarding education modules prior to start date

Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations

Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using Epic EMR

Administer medications and perform clinical interventions as needed

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes

Operate Level I fluid warmer and advanced medical equipment

Maintain a safe, supportive environment for patients and staff

Participate in ongoing nursing education and training
