This is a FULL-TIME position at Cornerstone of Recovery

Night Shift : 6p-6A

About the Role :

As a Registered Nurse on the Day Shift at Lakeview Health, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in various healthcare settings. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient. Additionally, you will educate patients and their families about health management and disease prevention, fostering a supportive environment for recovery. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to improved patient outcomes and a positive healthcare experience for all individuals under your care.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with a commitment to obtaining a BSN within a specified timeframe.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
  • Certification in a nursing specialty (e.g., Critical Care, Pediatrics).
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Responsibilities :

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition promptly.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to create and implement care plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health issues.
  • Skills :

    The required skills for this position include strong clinical assessment abilities, which are essential for identifying patient needs and monitoring their health status. Effective communication skills are vital for collaborating with the healthcare team and educating patients and families. Time management and organizational skills will help you prioritize tasks and manage multiple patients efficiently throughout your shift. Additionally, critical thinking skills will enable you to make informed decisions in high-pressure situations. Preferred skills, such as proficiency in EHR systems, will enhance your ability to document care accurately and streamline communication within the healthcare team.
