Title : Controller

Location : Derby, CT | 100% onsite

Salary : $110-125k depending on experience

Responsibilities of Controller :

• Own and manage the company's profit and loss (P&L) statements, ensuring accuracy and actionable insights for leadership.
• Manage all aspects of the company's financial operations, including general ledger, AP / AR, payroll, and job costing.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance reports.
• Oversee cash flow, banking, and reconciliations.
• Support external accountants with year-end close and tax preparation.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP.
• Manage employee onboarding, performance reviews, and offboarding processes.
• Handle HR compliance, policy updates, and documentation.
• Serve as a key point of contact for employee relations and company culture initiatives.
• Partner with management to address staffing needs and performance management.
