Job description
A company is looking for a Senior Building Code Consultant.
Key Responsibilities
Research, interpret, and apply local and state building, zoning, and other applicable codes for projects
Lead requirements-gathering sessions with city stakeholders to guide configuration and implementation
Translate and configure building, zoning, fire, and accessibility code provisions into the AI platform
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a building code consultant, plans examiner, or technical designer
Deep knowledge of ICC codes, zoning, and accessibility regulations
Proven ability to translate complex code language into clear workflows for software implementation
Experience in process mapping, requirements gathering, or configuration management
Familiarity with digital plan review and permitting software is a plus
