Job descriptionLead and manage a major enterprise LIMS transition project, overseeing all phases from planning through implementation. Develop and maintain the Project Management Plan, schedule, scope, estimates, communication plan, and deliverables matrix. Coordinate full project lifecycle activities including requirements, design, development, testing, implementation, and quality assurance. Monitor project progress, milestones, risks, issues, and budget; take corrective action and manage changes through established processes. Facilitate collaboration between stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to ensure requirements and solution needs are met. Communicate project status, decisions, risks, and recommendations to leadership, sponsors, and project teams. Maintain RAID+ logs, track metrics, and provide recurring project reporting and documentation. Build strong working relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related issues and resolutions. Support and align with PMO standards, contribute to process improvements, and ensure compliance with organizational methodologies. Coordinate system testing, training, orientation, and transition-to-production activities. Mentor junior project management staff and balance team workload to support project objectives. Manage project artifacts, documentation, and collaboration tools, including SharePoint, Teams, and required reporting systems. 5 years PMI PMP certification. 7–9 years experience managing technical initiatives with large, multi-disciplinary project teams and vendor involvement. Strong skills in budgeting, communication (verbal and written), leadership, negotiation, influencing, organization, problem-solving, teambuilding, and interpersonal collaboration. High level of business and technical knowledge. Ability to ramp up quickly and work independently. Ability to work onsite two days per week.
