The impact you'll make in this role : As an Industrial Engineer at a 3M distribution center, you will be integral to optimizing distribution and logistics operations. You will analyze existing processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and cost effectiveness. You will work with teams across departments to develop and refine labor management programs, build engineered standards, streamline workflows, and support the deployment of automation technologies. You will also perform data analysis and process modeling to align operations with industry best practices and company goals. This role requires a strong foundation in industrial engineering principles, problem solving, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Support Automation Projects

Design and implement automation systems within distribution centers to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Develop and maintain labor management programs, including data collection, analysis and reporting to support workforce optimization.

Identify process inefficiencies and support execution of continuous improvement projects aimed at cost reduction and operational excellence.

Gather, analyze, and report on key performance metrics related to distribution center operations to drive decision-making and improvements.

Applicable to US Applicants Only : The expected compensation range for this position is $122,292 - $149,468, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range is a good faith estimate. The specific compensation offered may vary based on factors including knowledge, training, skills, location, and experience.
